1. WHY DO WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT

It is further linked to the supplier’s business activities and not the contact’s privacy. We have assessed it so that this is necessary for us to be able to manage and follow up the customer relationship. That contact is only effective by contacting the customer directly. The treatment is considered to be clearly predictable for the customer.

1.2 Supplier information. This applies to contact information such as; name, telephone number, e-mail address and any other personal information that may result from the supplier relationship. The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of a balance of interests. It is further linked to the supplier’s business activities and not the contact’s privacy. We have assessed that this is necessary in order to be able to purchase goods and services from the supplier in an efficient and clear manner. This is most appropriately done by contacting individuals directly. The treatment is considered to be clearly predictable for the contact person.

1.3 Answer inquiries that come to us. Name, telephone number, e-mail address and any personal information that may result from the inquiry. The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of a balance of interests. We have assessed it so that this is necessary for us to help the person with what they are wondering about and be able to follow up the inquiry. The information is mainly related to the contact persons’ employer and not to the contact person’s privacy. On some occasions, there are also inquiries from private individuals who have questions related to the company. The treatment is considered to be predictable for the contact person / person.

1.4 Recruitment for new positions with us. Name, telephone number, e-mail address, address, CV (previous work experience, education, interests, etc.), application, certificates and references. The treatment takes place on the basis of a balance of interests as well as on the basis of your consent. The company processes the personal data in order to be able to assess whether employment is relevant. It is not possible to make a satisfactory assessment of the application without processing personal data. It is voluntary to share personal information with the company through the job application and the processing is considered to be clearly predictable for the jobseeker.

2. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHERS
We do not pass on your personal information to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis will typically be an agreement with you or a legal basis that requires us to publish the information. Vergia AS uses data processors to collect, store or otherwise process personal information on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into agreements to ensure information security at all stages of the processing.

4. STORAGE TIME We store your personal information with us for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which the personal information was collected. This means, for example, that personal data that we process on the basis of your consent will be deleted, if you withdraw your consent. Personal information we process to fulfill an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement has been fulfilled and all obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled.

5. YOUR RIGHTS WHEN WE PROCESS PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
You have the right to demand access, correction or deletion of the personal data we process about you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, direct objections to the processing and demand the right to data portability. We will respond to your inquiry to us without undue delay, and no later than within 30 days. We will ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information before we allow you to exercise your rights against us. We do this to make sure that we only give access to your personal information to you – and not someone who pretends to be you. You can withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data with us at any time. The easiest way to do this is to send an email to the same person as in the section above.

6. COMPLAINTS
If you believe that our processing of personal data does not comply with what we have described here or that we in other ways violate the privacy legislation, then you can complain to the Data Inspectorate.
